I love baking almost as much as I love eating, but I love sharing my bakes even more!

From the age of 6 I started making up recipes and making recipe suggestions for my mum to make. I was soon helping in the kitchen and bringing my baking creations to the table. It might not have all been a total success, but who gets it right every time?

I love to bake and develop recipes. Enhancing one of my existing recipes with a new ingredient or building a new recipe around a favourite flavour or ingredient.

When I was given a few of my late Great Aunt’s cook books I had a great time recreating and bringing these recipes up to date. I have only just begun to scratch the surface with these.

My family are my biggest fans and critics. They all have very different tastes and this is so important when developing a new recipe. Honesty can be brutal however it is so very essential!

I think seasonal cooking has to be the best, it is so important to use produce that is in season and flavours of the moment.
