After a long summers day there is nothing better than to put your feet up and have a glass of cold refreshing lemonade.
This is so quick and easy to make you will wonder why you haven’t made it before. You don’t have to be totally accurate and a lot will depend on your personal taste.
This is how I like my lemonade:
You will need:
- Per 1 Pint/ 500ml of cold water
- Juice of 1 large Lemon
- 1 – 2 tbsp Granulated Sugar.
Method:
- Mix the juice and sugar into the water until the sugar dissolves
- Pour into a tall glass and serve with ice and a slice (and a sprig of mint if you have some).
You can keep this in the fridge for a day of two, but is best drunk as it is made.
This is best served chilled.
If you find your lemonade a bit too sharp simply add another spoonful of sugar.
